2011 full of hearts

This year has past super fast and too many things have happend. Beginning from the losing of a loved one, up ‚till the realization that someone in your life has become major important.I have started my Master 'Museology' in Amsterdam and moved there in a small little cupboard. I went to Poland for 4 weeks and got to know another country and I celebrated my one year anniversary with a favorite person.

2012 will be just as exciting. I will go to Scotland and wander through the highlands and then I will move to another country and work in a great museum. I will be back though. But my home of the last 6 years will not be my home anymore......

And: I started a blog this year. It turned out different than I thought it would and post have become very rare. But still I am in love with the idea and I will try to find a rhythm that suits me and others as well. For the rest who have never left likepixelsinatree: Thank you.

And last but not least: A little list of thoughts of 2011.

Friends of birds,

Birds are amazing animals. I think after trees they are my most favourite natural phenomenon of every day life. And I am not talking about the colourful birds people have at home. It is more the bird that wakes me up in the morning that makes me feel like on the first day of Easter holidays each time no matter how stressed I am.
Winter-camping which apparently is becoming a every year thing, can be painful at times, since it is pretty cold. But as long as the birds are still around I feel safe.

Of course birds are scary as well some times. And unfortunately they do not like you as much as you like them at times.
And at 7 in the morning when you are walking home or lying in bed trying to fall asleep they can be very annoying and truth-revealing: It is already Sunday, my friend. Not Saturday anymore. Especially when I was a teenager this thought of being close to Monday freaked me out. And birds were the messengers of this truth.

One of my dearest friends has always been a bird-fan. And I have seen her fight for the coolness and also intelligence of birds at many times. And in some way this post is for her.

Have fun with some stuff and some videos.

ByeBye

Murmuration

from Sophie Windsor Clive:  When I first watched this video I had to research if this was fake. But it is not. There are hundreds of videos of birds forming these constallations. But this vid in my opinion is one of the nicest.

hello wanderers,

I haven't written in a long time and I did not really need to nor have the time to. I moved to Amsterdam and started a new study, had to arrange myself here and had too much things in my head going on that I needed for myself and not for any community. But I think one big reason I did not continue this blog was because I did not know what I want. I tried to be something and tried to be me. I did not know if all my posts were interesting enough and sometimes I lost my own personality so I postet things I knew people would enjoy rather than what just tickles me.

I now want to change that and just post what comes into my mind and not see it as my job but just something I like to do. I use to spend minimum 1 1/2 hours on making a blog but sometimes for collages needed up to 3 hours. To be honest: This is not possible for me since I do not earn my money through this.... But anyways. After receiveing some emails and skype questions: 'Why did you stop ?'or 'Your blog is frozen' I decided to start fresh and new. Because like pixels in a tree is really something I can identify myself I believe.

I hope people will come back and read again.

Love & Peace

The feeling Amsterdam gives sometimes. Although there are lovely people I can not shake the feeling that the city wants me to be alone.
