Secrets are our friends and enemies at the same time. They can save us from time to time and they can destroy things. Secrets can be scary. And they can make us safe. Everybody knows how it is to keep a secret you have been told. Sometimes we know that keeping them is the biggest problem. But sometimes letting them out is too scary. I think secrets are amazing. And I also think we never think about their true nature. Something natural that comes without trying and which makes us happy at some times and sad at the other.
SecretPost, a movement online, receives anonymous letters or postcards with secrets. I fell in love with this. Here underneath a few of my most favorites. The nice thing about this that some are shocking, others could even make you cry. But it shows the power secrets have even if not connected to a person.
